But I would love to read that book if Fr Stan ever writes it.

Mary- my pastor's homily really helped me with this one. I know we are not meant to understand everything in Scripture, but it's nice when one clicks every now and then :)Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15124468084334204166noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4418857925355392274.post-89531637984120714622010-06-21T19:33:05.589-04:002010-06-21T19:33:05.589-04:00This was very insightful, Karin. Sometimes I get what they are trying to say, sometimes I don't. Thank you for making some sense of this for me :)Mary N.https://www.blogger.com/profile/06618318192221168152noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4418857925355392274.post-72501947198845678802010-06-21T16:42:38.615-04:002010-06-21T16:42:38.615-04:00Those "licks" you've taken, your bur...Those "licks" you've taken, your burden of the cross, must please the Lord so much!

When I saw Fr. Stan Fortuna last spring, he mentioned that he wanted to write a book called "The Rebukes of Jesus". I bet it would be a bestseller! I never did understand all of the rebukes He gave out, like when Peter's mother-in-law was sick, Jesus rebuked the fever. I wish that would work for all of us! Scold a cold and rebuke a fever! :)Annehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06195528409761980551noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4418857925355392274.post-90439946100193926912010-06-21T12:17:21.551-04:002010-06-21T12:17:21.551-04:00Thanks Elizabeth,
