At The End of a Long Day...
Give Me Jesus.
Today was one of those long, non~stop days. It began in my office at 7:45am and ended at 7:00pm.
I came home physically, emotionally and spiritually drained. The thought of blogging was about to be put on a back burner for tonight, until I remembered the song, "Give Me Jesus". That's really all I wanted; the comfort of my pj's, my sofa and Jesus. (OK I had a chicken salad sandwich as well)
I found this version of the song performed by Jeremy Camp. It is the backdrop for a montage put together by a college student named Dan Deavers. The images are beautiful as well as powerful.
As I watched the video and was lulled by Jeremy's beautiful voice, the thought came to me that while I may physically live alone, I come home to Jesus; He is always here waiting.
The song says it all. So I leave you with this beautiful song.
Enjoy and Good Night!
*Just one small warning: the montage does contain some of the more graphic scenes from
The Passion of the Christ; just in case you are watching along with some little eyes.

I'm sorry that you had a rough Monday and I hope that the rest of your week was much better! I have not heard this song before and I really like it. So much so that I'm going to play it again!
Blessings to you this weekend!
