As the Pastor Prays, So Prays the Parish

Yesterday I went on a bit of a rant and rave about the abuses in my own and other parishes. I titled the post "Is Nothing Sacred?" Well apparently in at least in one parish in Norwalk, CT there are many things sacred- especially in their Liturgy. Check out Fr. Z's post on Fr. Markey, pastor of St. Mary parish in Norwalk, CT, over at What Does the Prayer Really Say? It made me want to move to Norwalk. As I also posted previously, we need to pray for our priests as well as our bishops. Our parishes need more Fr. Markey's.

Heavenly Father send us more holy, humble and happy priests. We ask this in Jesus' name. Amen.
